Childbirth, aging, or illness can leave a woman’s genital tissues loosened, deflated, or discolored. This labial atrophy causes self-consciousness and inhibits sexual enjoyment for so many Houston women.

We have empowered hundreds of women to take control of their sexual health with the Vampire Wing Lift (VWL) an innovative, subtle, non-surgical approach to revitalizing women’s’ intimate area through platelet-rich plasma (PRP) therapy. The Vampire Wing Lift is one of the most noninvasive effective vulvar restorative procedures available – and it requires no anesthetic, hospital stay, or extended recovery time.

Many of our Houston patients report feeling sexier and more feminine after their Vampire Wing Lift. Ever since many famous stars unveiled their experience with the Vampire Facial, women have been using PRP to revive their natural beauty without surgery.

How does PRP work?

Your blood is mainly composed of a liquid called plasma, which contains microscopic components: red cells, white cells, and platelets. Platelets are crucial to the blood clotting process and contain many proteins called growth factors which play a vital role in healing injuries and regenerating distressed tissue.

Platelet-rich plasma contains many more platelets than typically found in blood. Platelet concentration (and growth factors) can be up to ten times greater than that of typical blood samples, so it may promote soft tissue cell regeneration.

When introduced into a loosened or deflated labium, PRP stimulates a tissue-building response, including the production of collagen, fatty tissue, and blood vessels.

The result? Firmer labial skin reduced or eliminated looseness and increased volume without surgery or downtime.

These are just a few vaginal conditions VWL can treat:

  • skin laxity (looseness)
  • uneven skin tone
  • deep folds
  • discoloration
  • volume loss

How is a Vampire Wing Lift Performed?

Unlike surgical procedures, the Vampire Wing Lift is short, simple, and stress-free.

At your consultation, Dr. Evans will discuss your medical history, current health, and expectations. Be sure to mention any medications you are taking or any concerns you have.

On the day of your procedure, we will apply a numbing cream to the labia. We will then draw blood from your arm into a special PRP tube. It takes just a few minutes. This sample is then placed into a centrifuge and spun until its platelets and growth factors are separated from the red blood cells and concentrated into a plasma. This process is repeated until platelet-rich serum is separated– your PRP. It is this amazing serum that makes VWLs possible.

Next, Dr. Evans will then obtain and prepare the dermal filler known as hyaluronic acid for injection. This filler is a natural chemical found in your body. Then the filler and prepared PRP is placed into the labia to create a more youthful less deflated appearance.

This can be combined with radiofrequency skin or vaginal tightening for an even more compact smoother appearance. Or if suffering from a decrease in sexual sensation, it can be combined with the O-shot®.

After your procedure, you can resume regular activities with no sexual downtime. Over the next 2-3 months, the collagen will build in the tissues maximizing the effects.

If you want to enhance your labia’s appearance and restore a youthful look Dr. Evans can help.

What are the Benefits of Getting a Vampire Wing Lift?

VWL offers so many benefits that surgery does not. Some of the perks include:

  • non-surgical: no incisions, scarring, anesthetic, hospital stay, or long recovery time
  • flexible: you can get other vaginal procedures before or after your VWL, including O-shot, dermal fillers, or others – discuss combining procedures with Dr. Evans
  • fast and simple: your procedure takes about 30-45 minutes, including prep time – much faster than the large time investment required by surgical options
  • worry-free: almost no risk of surgeon error that requires another surgery and more cost to repair the mistake
  • autologous: PRP is created from your ownplatelet-derived growth factors, so there is little risk of an allergic reaction or infection from a donor blood sample
  • safety: over half a million PRP procedures have been performed worldwide, and few patients report any side effects

What Results Can I Expect?

Vampire Wing Lift is considered a generally safe vaginal rejuvenation treatment. Most Houston patients report positive effects right after treatment. As your growth factors generate new tissue over the next few weeks, you will see your vaginal skin growing firmer and fuller, while the texture continues to improve. The positive effects will be most noticeable after about 6-7 weeks following your treatment and can last up to a year.

You may also notice heightened vaginal sensitivity and responsiveness, which can increase your sexual excitement and enjoyment. Many women also report having stronger and more frequent orgasms – a welcome bonus from your Vampire Wing Lift.

You may experience slight swelling, pain, bruising, soreness, or bleeding at the injection sites. This should go away within a day or two. If you experience serious side effects like dizziness, fever, rash, fainting, nausea, vomiting, or other severe symptoms, don’t wait – call Dr. Evans or go to the nearest emergency room right away.

Many Houston patients choose to undergo a second treatment about 3 months after their first to enhance the vaginal appearance and stimulate skin texture improvements even further.

As with all medical procedures, results will vary depending on age, the severity of atrophy, genetics, general health, and other environmental conditions. Please speak to Dr. Evans during your consultation to learn more.

Who is a Good Vampire Wing Lift Candidate?

Pretty much any Houston woman who wants firmer vaginal skin is a good VWL candidate. However, some people may have medical situations that make treatment challenging. These can include:

  • pregnancy or nursing
  • HIV/AIDS
  • hepatitis
  • immune system damaging conditions
  • cancer

Always discuss your past and current medical conditions with Dr. Evans during your consultation.
