A Breakthrough Treatment for Incontinence & Confidence
This unique technology revolutionizes the women’s intimate health and wellness category by providing those suffering from incontinence with a completely non-invasive option.
What is BTL EMSELLA®?
BTL EMSELLA utilizes High-Intensity Focused Electromagnetic technology (HIFEM®) to cause pelvic floor muscle stimulation and restoration. A single BTL EMSELLA session brings thousands of supramaximal pelvic floor muscle contractions, which are extremely important in muscle re-education of incontinent patients.
Body aging, childbirth, and menopause can lead to incontinence. But luckily, there is a non-invasive solution to help you, Meet BTL EMSELLA!
What Are the Benefits of Female Incontinence Treatment?
Women choose to have treatment because of the significant improvement it can offer in their quality of life. After receiving care, Dr. Evans’ patients have reported that they:
- See a major reduction in leakage.
- Don’t need to wear incontinence pads as often or at all.
- Don’t have the skin irritation they used to experience when wearing incontinence pads and diapers.
- Experience some decrease in sexual dysfunction.
The options that Dr. Evans provides to Houston women include:
O-Shot®. Using a simple blood draw, Dr. Evans introduces natural healing factors that can stimulate blood flow, improve continence, and enhance sexual sensation.
Ultra Femme 360™. We use non-invasive RF energy to tighten the vagina from the cervix to the vaginal opening.
BTL EMSELLA. A one-of-a-kind treatment, EMSELLA creates electromagnetic waves that stimulate the pelvic floor. Patients remain fully clothed during the visit.
Each approach is non-surgical and requires no downtime.
Is Female Incontinence Treatment Right for You?
After a woman gives birth or if she experiences perineal trauma, doctors may be averse to performing additional surgery to resolve incontinence. For this reason, the non-invasive techniques that Dr. Evans uses can be a better option.
Consider female incontinence treatment with Sugar Land Medical Spa if:
- You have loss of urine when you cough, sneeze, or exercise.
- You wear a pad or diaper to get through the day or when you go to sleep.
- You have other problems with controlling the flow of urine.
To determine the type of treatment you require, start with a consultation at our Houston office. Dr. Evans will talk with you about the problems you’ve been experiencing, review your medical history, and perform an examination.
Some women have both vaginal laxity and incontinence, with laxity being a bigger concern. In these cases, Dr. Evans may recommend the “Ultimate O” treatment, which combines O-Shot with Ultra Femme 360. This approach doesn’t affect the pelvic floor muscles but can tighten the inside and outside of the vagina and provide patients with greater control.
Alternatively, Dr. Evans offers the “Ultra O” treatment, which includes the O-Shot and strengthens the pelvic floor muscles with BTL EMSELLA. This approach is designed to address urge and stress-related urine loss.
What Is the Recovery from Female Incontinence Treatment Like?
Non-surgical techniques require no downtime, whether you receive O-Shot, Ultra Femme 360, EMSELLA, or a combination of treatments. Each takes place at our Houston office.
With O-Shot, a patient’s blood is drawn, spun in a centrifuge, and re-injected back into selected sites. Patients can immediately resume normal activities after the procedure.
With Ultra Femme 360, Dr. Evans will use a handheld device to treat the vagina, labia, and perineum with RF energy. Treatment takes about 15 minutes, and most of our patients describe it as a non-painful, warming sensation. Afterward, they are free to participate in all normal activities. Expect to have a series of three treatments spaced two weeks apart.
EMSELLA patients typically have four to six sessions spaced three weeks apart. During your treatment, you will sit on the machine but remain fully clothed. Over about 30 minutes, the device will create a series of small, non-painful contractions in your pelvic floor. In the weeks that follow, you should notice a strengthening of the muscles that control flow and a decrease in urinary problems.
What Is the Cost of Female Incontinence Treatment in Houston?
Female incontinence treatment can range in price from $1500 to $3700. Factors that affect the cost include:
- The type of procedure you have.
- Whether you have a combination of treatments.
- The number of sessions.
With each of the non-surgical methods that Dr. Evans offers, patients will typically need retreatment within one or two years to maintain the benefits. In general, patients need fewer sessions during retreatment, so follow-ups are less expensive and take less time overall.
